In 1997 I designed and built my first website. Since then I’ve been working typical 9 to 5, full-time jobs in website design, email marketing, search engine optimization and pay-per-click advertising.

Occasionally, I would take freelance projects and build websites for small businesses…

In 2007, my brother Alex decided it was time to try a new career. He was a mechanic for 12 years and was finally sick and tired of the chemicals, exhaust fumes and standing on concrete for 8-9 hours every day.

Alex finished the schooling, testing and became a certified personal trainer in 2008.

Now he needed to find clients – fast.

That’s when he asked me to build a website for his personal training business.

As a start up business, Alex didn’t have the money to buy a local TV commercial or get a full page spread in the newspaper. Building the website with a strict Search engine optimization plan was the only form of advertising he could afford.

The site was optimized for search engine rankings from day 1.

Every page, paragraph and title on the site was carefully crafted to make the search engines happy AND turn visitors into clients.

In June of 2008, we launched www.StoccoFitness.com and the rest is history…

Shortly after the website launched, Alex got phone calls and emails from people who found his website by searching Google, Yahoo and MSN. Many of those people became clients and are still working with him today.

You’ll be amazed to hear that Alex is now turning clients away because his schedule is full! In just six months, Alex went from start up business to successful business.

Now he works less hours, makes more money and is able to spend more time with his wife and two kids.
